I agree separate categories would be nice
It would be great to have separate categories for sewing patterns for garments, accessories, soft furnishings, bags, pet wear, etc. Also, being able to sort by price (ascending and descending) would be useful.
I love Makerist and all of your patterns. I would add the sort by price feature.
Thanks!
There's a lot to do:
- knitting and crochet classes
- more knitting and crochet patterns
- improved search functions (for instance "sorted by price").
Especially the German Makerist pages seems to be mostly for sewing - I don't feel welcome as a knitter...
here are a few of my ideas
The ability to sort our makerist wish lists into relevant files (ie. gifts for family, sew for myself, baby clothes.etc.)
A button on each sewing pattern page where you can buy a paper copy (some of us are terrible with jigsaws)
being able to sort by price
The possibility of seeing how consumers have found the pattern and what they have made.
Thank you
Find a way to help your people get patterns translated (either leave the patterns NOT in PDF format, so we can use a translator program, or help them find someone who can help them translate. I have several German patterns that I have not had courage to start....I will eventually find it, but you have some excellent designers on the German site, and it really limits me, knowing I am paying for something I may never be able to use.
Why not combine the different makerist sites from different countries and just allow people to select the language of the pattern/instructions. And we can see and buy all sorts of patterns.even if they arenot in our native langage
I don't use Instagram. I have no ideas as how to improve Makerist.
No instagram. Oh man, what a hard question to ask! I'd love a section in the patterns for costumes or dress up type patterns as those are the ones I like to use a lot.
I love Makerist. The only thing I'd like to see is when you click on the "tabs" for sewing for example, I'd love it then broken down even more in to categories to make it easier to browse patterns
