#44 e-book dress/leggings "Sommer-Liebchen" (98-164)
The set #44 Sommer-Liebchen is the perfect pattern from spring to autumn.
The casually cut dress with ruffle sleeves sits loosely for a comfortable fit. You can sew with this pattern a longshirt, or with the hem ruffle, a dress. For cooler days, there are matching leggings that you can sew in capri length or long. It includes two different waistband variants. The jersey fabric waistband is extra high and is worked with a gathering in the center back. A cut part for a normal waistband made of cuff fabric is also included. You can then spice up the hem with a sewn bow and the complete outfit is ready!
Since the cut of the leggings is specially designed without side seams, large-area prints/patterns are particularly suitable for this.
In our test sewing, jersey has proven to be the most suitable type of fabric for both styles. The waist cuffs on the leggings can also be cut from jersey. However, if you want to have a little more elasticity on the waistband, use cuff fabric instead. For the neck cuffs on the dress you either use the fabric of the dress, or choose cuff fabric.
The knot detail on the hems looks particularly beautiful if you use a color-matching combination fabric.
This pattern includes sizes 98-164.
The instructions are very detailed and richly illustrated to enable sewing beginners as well. Please read the instructions completely before you start sewing! I wish you a lot of fun trying it out!
