Description

This hat combines a simple broken rib pattern with a cabled, “sideways worked” brim, that is folded up to add a second layer over the ears to keep them snug and warm. Options include making a slouchier hat and adding a pom-pom to the top.

Gauge: 18 sts = 4” [10cm] in broken rib worked in the round: Round 1: K all sts. Round 2: K2, p2 across.

Intermediate Skill level, however detailed instructions make it possible for an advanced beginner to attempt. Pattern is both written and charted
