Lovely English sampler from 1803 stitched at Chippenham by an 8 years old girl called Ann.

Ann worked some neat stitches, but chose a poem too long for her canvas; she cleverly solved the problem by stitching the missing bits above the end of the sentence.

          Design Area: 176 x 216 stitches

If stitched on 28 ct linen/ 14 ct aida the pattern will measure :

          12,50" x 15,40" / 32 x 39 cm

          Contains:

          • Chart in two different format. Black and white, and color with symbol.
          • Photos of the original sampler
          • PDF in A4 format

          Materials you need at home:

          • Embroidery floss
          • Linen, aida or the embroidery fabric of your choice.
          • Embroidery needles and scissors
