Lovely English sampler from 1803 stitched at Chippenham by an 8 years old girl called Ann.
Ann worked some neat stitches, but chose a poem too long for her canvas; she cleverly solved the problem by stitching the missing bits above the end of the sentence.
Design Area: 176 x 216 stitches
If stitched on 28 ct linen/ 14 ct aida the pattern will measure :
12,50" x 15,40" / 32 x 39 cm
