Materials you need at home:

  • ¼ yd. of red fabric for main body (stretchy fabric, such as minky or fleece is recommended)
  • ¼ yd. of orange fabric for head crest, wings, and tail sections (stretchy fabric, such as minky or fleece is recommended)
  • ¼ yd. of yellow fabric for beak and tail sections (stretchy fabric, such as minky or fleece is recommended)
  • 4” x 4” scraps of applique fabrics (such as felt, cotton, etc.): orange for outer eye, yellow for iris and wing detail, white for eye shines
  • 5” x 5” scrap of light or heavy duty fusible web
  • 5” x 7” scrap of cotton or other thin fabric (for bean pouch)
