Knit & purl sts, knitting in the round, increases & decreases, specialist cast-on, I-cords

22 sts x 36 rows to 4in/10cm on 3.75mm needles over St.St.
 20 sts x 40 rows to 4in/10cm on 3.75mm needles over Garter St.

  • Yarn A 39 (48, 53, 63) yd/ 36 (44, 49, 58) m DK weight, plied yarn (Sample shown in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK (142yd/130m per 50g; 55% Merino, 33% Microfibre, 12% Cashmere))

  • Yarn B 24 (32, 39, 48) yd/ 22 (27, 36, 44) m

  • 34yd/31m yarn for a 6x6in/15x15cm swatch in St.St. in either yarn.
  • Set 3.75mm/UK9/US5 DPNs/Circular or size needed to obtain gauge

  • Stitch markers as necessary

All patterns include a range of sizes, and many have additional design options and notes for alterations. Where possible, illustrated tutorials for specialist techniques are also included.
