Exotic and colorful, this counted pattern is a faithful reproduction of an antique hand painted chart dating from the 1830’s-40’s.

This style of designs would most probably have been worked in tent stitch with gaudy, colorful wool, then made into decorative cushions or upholstery covers.

          Design Area: 191 x 149 stitches

If stitched on 28 ct linen/ 14 ct aida the pattern will measure :

          13,64" x 10,64" / 34,6 x 27 cm

In the photos you can see a detail of the original hand painted antique chart, and a sample of the chart in colors with symbols, and black and white.

          Contains:

          • Chart in colors, and black and white.
          • Color key for DMC threads
          • Large chart for easy printing

          Materials you need at home:

          • Linen, aida or the embroidery fabric of your choice.
          • DMC embroidery threads, or the threads of your choice.
          • Embroidery needles, and sharp scissors
