If you catch a leprechaun they will grant you three wishes, perhaps that will happen if you knit one too? Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the leprechaun is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). A crochet hook is used to crochet single chains for the clover stalk and hat buckle, and the beard incorporates knitted bobbles (instructions how to knit a bobble are in the pattern). For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
Contains:
- Instructions for making the leprechaun and photos.
- Measurements are in metric.
- A materials list and recommended yarns.
- The pattern is 5 pages and written in English.
Materials you need at home:
- A pair of straight 3.75mm knitting needles (US 5)
- A 3.75mm crochet hook (US F/5)
- DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight)
