Get creative! ~ This cape can be sewn with a woven exterior and a satin or regular lining. ~ This makes a great gift for others too! ~ No Serger/Overlock needed. ~ Select a mid-weight Woven. I used a wool/polyester suiting, but you can use satins, velvets or anything that will drape nicely. ~ Yardage needed for self (main fabric) minimum width 52” = 2 Yards (1.85 meters) ~ Yardage needed for lining minimum width 52” = 1 3/4 yards (1.6 meters) ~ Yardage needed for Fusible (Iron-on) interlining (minimum width 26”) = 1 yard (0.9 meter) ~ 5 buttons are need and twill tape for buttonloops ~ This is a beautiful cover-up for a wedding or bridal occasion too! ~ This is a one size fits most pattern and is great for sizes XS- Large. And if you choose to not do stitching to separate a "sleeve" an XL will also work for this pattern. It's very versatile.
