This little Christmas Tree requires only a few grammes of yarn and can be made in about an hour; a quick and simple knit for festive decorations. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the tree is knitted in acrylic DK yarns in stockinette on single pointed needles (not in the round). It is made from two pieces (the green top and red base), seamed and stuffed, and the bead decorations are sewn on after making up. Instead of using beads you could decorate with embroidery or buttons. To convert the tree to a hanging decoration, thread some yarn or ribbon through the top to make a hanging loop. For beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, kfb increase and k2tog decrease, and seaming to finish.
