I’m a big cat lover, they are an everyday comfort and support, and a constant source of inspiration. So this hat is a tribute to all cats and their cute, crazy face! It’s a very fun knit, and a cute accessory to wear as a pop of color on your head with any outfit. Besides, it will put a smile on everyone’s face!

  • Finished Size 16.5 (22)” hat circumference unstreched.

  • Gauge 22 sts and 19 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in stranded St st on size 5 needles.

Materials you need at home:

  • Yarn Knit Picks Swish DK, 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 123yds/50g: 26060, Rouge (MC), 2 skeins; 24064, White (CC1), 1 skein; 24045, Coal (CC2), 1 skein; 26061, Honey (CC3), 1 skein.

  • Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ circular (cir). Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

  • Notions Markers (m); tapestry needle; pompom maker (optional).

Crafts are for me a family tradition. My grandmother was a profesional dressmaker and I spent my childhood playing with spools of thread and fabric. My mother is more a knitter, and she is the one who taught me how to knit when I was a kid.
