I really do like this ruana. It is very versatile and can be worn in several different ways -- crossed in the front, open in the front, or one front panel over the shoulder. It fits a lot like a rectangular poncho, except that it is open in the front. As you can see from the photos, it has a beautiful drape in the back.
This ruana is basically one-size-fits-most, but I do provide a gauge for those wishing to achieve the same measurements. I also provide some guidelines for adjusting the size, should you wish to do so.
This ruana is worked horizontally as one continuous piece (no seams! yay!). It consists of alternating sections of wrapped double crochet stitch rows and hdc rows (worked in back loops only). The wrapped double crochet stitches are explained in detail with photos, just in case you are not familiar with them.
