This short and airy summer top is knitted with a 100% cotton yarn. You can wear this top on really hot days. If it is a little bit cooler, you can wear a blouse underneath, so that you can enjoy it for a long time.
Top Summer is knitted bottom up. It is knitted in the round till the armholes. Then divided in a front and back piece and knitted flat. You have to decrease stitches for front and back sides and cast on stitches for the neck band. There is no front or back to this vest. Both sides are identical.

Level intermediate; you must have knowledge of: o Slip stitches (explained in the pattern) o Decreasing (also explained in the pattern) o Knit and Purl stitches o Knitting in the round and knitting back and forth o Casting on stitches for neck band
Gauge: 20 stitches and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inch (stockinette stitch; knit on right side; purl on wrong side)
