This colorful blue and green dinosaur themed baby quilt is fun and fairly simple. This only requires basic quilt block sewing skills and the ability to use the zig-zag function on your machine to do applique. This pattern gives basic instructions on both as well as tracing patterns for the animal applique pieces. A full list of materials is included, however if you have a good fabric stash, you may not need to buy much in the way of fabric. I make these normally with a mix of fabrics in the same color palette.
A Quilt of a Brighter Color
I love bright colors and fun patterns. Recently I have been making baby blankets for a bunch of friends and designing my own patterns, and decided it was time to share my ideas with other quilters. Most of my quilts are cute animal applique panels surrounded by fairly simple block work.
