The Baking Series is from my love for Cooking and Baking coming to life in embroidery. Having a Farmhouse kitchen is wonderful. I love to bake and enjoy people laughing and enjoying themselves while having a little something yummy to eat. Vintage mixers and bowls, with pretty kitchen towels, whisks, flour sifters, cake plates, and lots of pretty serving platters. These are many of my favorite items to bake and serve with. This pattern combines my love for pretty baking supplies and little stitcheries. Enjoy!

I was taught how to embroider at a very young age to keep me quiet in church. Stitches were simple, and threads had pretty colors. My mother would trace a design on fabric and I would outline the design with thread using a simple straight stitch, outline stitch or backstitch. I learned more difficult stitches as I got older. But my mother planted the seeds of creativity in me at an early age and I loved hand sewing and embroidery. I tried this same technique with my beautiful daughter and she had NO INTEREST whatsoever. She is now a makeup artist and is a wonderful daughter who has no desire to sew! However, she wants me to make tons of things for her baby nursery. Smile smile. My patterns are easy, thread colors are pretty, embroidery is simple, and the end product will be lovely!

Pattern is simple with illustrated guidelines. 12 pages with photos, directions and guidelines for making both hoop art designs. White cotton for the background and various embroidery floss colors listed in pattern. They can be replaced if another color scheme is preferred though.
