Family 5x1 rib beanie - 2 years to man - Kingsley

Description

This family Beanie has a 1x1 rib brim then is worked in an easy 5x1 rib stitch. It is worked in Kilcarra Tweed yarn, which is approximately a 12ply, and can be purchased from my Knitting Patterns Online website.

Pattern sizes: Age 2-5 yrs, 6-10 yrs, Teen, Lady and Man.

To fit head: 52 (54-55-56-59) cm [20½ (21¼-21¾-22-23) ins].

Yarn required: 1 (1-1-2-2) balls Knoll Kilcarra Tweed, 50g balls@80m.

Needles required: A pair of 5.00mm [UK 6, US 8] knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 16 sts and 23 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over patt, using 5.00mm needles.
