A super sweet little coin purse for you to knit and felt.
A few hours knitting and then you too will have an opportunity to experience the magic of hand felting. You will feel the yarn as it transforms in your hands from loose knitted fabric into beautiful tactile felt.
And maybe like me you too will find a new passion!
To create your purse you will also need- a pair of 6.5mm knitting needles Lion brand- Cascade 220 50m /54 yd (approx 25gm DK wool) Button
You can use any felting yarn to make this little purse. I reccomend 4 ply or double knit so that the felt is not too thick, but hey! Why not experiment?
The finished purse knitted with my yarn measures 11cm x7cm (4 1/4" x 2 3/4")

My sketch book is always full of new toy and doll characters waiting to be created in yarn.
I love bringing them to life with my knitting needles!
I spend my days in my sunny studio with my Siamese cat for company.
Surrounded by colourful yarn, my hands are busy clicking the knitting needles or sketching current ideas.
I create dolls and toys to celebrate the seasons and important times in people’s lives, Christmas and Easter- New babies and snuggly tired toddlers.
In between creating new dolls and teddy bears. I’ve created patterns for knitting magazines and worked with retail firms to create knitting kits.
I started out selling my knitted and felted bags at Craft and Design events where I enjoyed meeting other knitting enthusiasts.
It was these knitters who convinced me to publish my patterns for others to enjoy.
