Floral Clematis Birdcage Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern
If you love beautiful summer flowers, you'll love the Floral Clematis Birdcage Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern from TeaCosyFolk.
Clematis need support, something to grow up and the main basis for this tea cosy is a white bird cage. French style birdcages are often used as home décor or floral displays. The clematis on this tea cosy looks as if it's growing up the birdcage, the hanging hook of the cage is clearly visible on the top and you can just see bits of cage bars peeping through the flowers and leaves.
Each petal is knitted separately and sewn into place. The flower centre is knitted and then parts are cut and unravelled to create the fluffy centre of the flower. There are 4 flowers in total and 4 clusters of leaves.
The Floral Clematis Birdcage is a lovely tea cosy that will be loved by florists and gardeners alike. The Floral Clematis Birdcage tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting, very soon!

I design and knit unique tea cosies. I really love designing exciting and unusual tea cosies, its great fun and people don’t mind having an over the top tea cosy. Plus they are a great talking point at tea time and make for brilliant knitting projects.
I have quite a following with regular customers who regularly buy my latest designs from my website TeaCosyFolk.co.uk
I have had a couple of patterns printed in the Simply Knitting Magazine, which is very exciting.
