Tunic Dress PDF Sewing Pattern - The Amelie
This listing includes patterns for both letter size and A4 paper as separate zip files.
Your girl will love this dress which can be worn all year round. It has long and short puff sleeves, ribbing on the short sleeve and neckline and a cute double or single layer ruffle. I have dressed this in all manner of ways, as party dress, princess dress and simple day dress.
Whether you are an expert or just starting out the video tutorial will make it very clear what you have to do. If you are unsure if you can handle this pattern then simply watch the video to reassure yourself before you purchase the pattern. And for all those of you that love to keep all instruction neatly in a folder,my instructions booklet (attached to size 2) contains page after page with photo's just to make doubly sure you know what to do.
The pattern is available for immediate download so you can get started straight away.
Your pattern comes with all the sizes 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6 None of my patterns are multi sized so there is one size per file, this saves a lot of paper and confusion as to which line you have to cut.
There are two raglan patterns, Daisy and Amelie. The Daisy pattern has slim sleeves and is cut slightly different with a kick out hemline with trim. Both patterns can be mixed and matched, so if you want to purchase both, get yourself a bargain with the double pack, also available from this shop.
Every pattern is hand drafted and then imported into a CAD program to make sure you have a pattern that fits and looks good too! No pattern is automatically graded or computer generated with software. Having trained as a tailor 30 years ago I know that pattern generating software can never replace the skill of a pattern drafted by hand. Try my patterns and you will love the fit. No loose armholes that are cut too low or sleeves that hang of the shoulder.
The pattern pack includes: • A pattern in PDF format ready to print on regular A4 / letter size paper with assembly instructions • Detailed step by step photo tutorial • Detailed video instructions on You Tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4J7IvZ_5zY • Fabric requirements
A serger is a definite advantage when working with stretch fabrics.
