Wondering what to do with all those left over balls of yarn from previous projects? Turn them into adorable guinea pigs with the Guinea Pig Toy Knitting Pattern.
The Guinea Pig Toy Knitting Pattern is a quick to knit pattern using either Aran yarn or two strands of DK yarn. You could also use fluffy or eyelash yarn to give your guinea pigs they own unique look and feel. Brilliant for stash busting!
This fun knitted guinea pig is about the size of a real guinea pig at about 20cm by 10cm depending on the yarn you have used.
The rodents little feet are knitted to look you'd expect a Guinea Pigs feet to look with individual digits. They are knitted as one and attached underneath.
I love the Guinea Pig's floppy ears and they slightly over hand the eye. I have used safety eyes but you could embroider the eyes on if you prefur.
The Guinea Pigs are wonder little knitted gifts for children but they are also loved by Alzheimer patients.
The Guinea Pigs are knitted flat on two needles and are easy to make.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting them very soon!

I design and knit unique tea cosies. I really love designing exciting and unusual tea cosies, its great fun and people don’t mind having an over the top tea cosy. Plus they are a great talking point at tea time and make for brilliant knitting projects.
I have quite a following with regular customers who regularly buy my latest designs from my website TeaCosyFolk.co.uk
I have had a couple of patterns printed in the Simply Knitting Magazine, which is very exciting.
