This is a very sweet design featuring Bluebell the hedgehog sitting amongst her namesake favourite flower.....the bluebell! The photo shows part of the design stitched onto a background of fabric scrap patchwork and framed in an embroidery hoop.
The pattern include 2 sizes of design which will fit either a 4" hoop or 8" hoop (when printed on A4 paper)
Skill Level: Suitable for beginners The stitches suggested for this pattern are backstitch, straight stitch, stem stitch and a tiny bit of satin stitch. These are simple embroidery stitches, and full instructions on how to do these stitches can be found in the 'Embroidery Classroom' of my website: http://www.jennyblair.co.uk. You can also find a tutorial on transfer techniques there.

Jenny Blair
I'm a self taught textile artist and designer/maker, based in rural Scotland where the horizon is filled with rolling hills and the air is clear. I was introduced to embroidery and sewing by a primary school teacher at age 9,it was pretty much love at first stitch (the fact that I won the sewing prize that year may have helped slightly!) That love never left...in fact it became my 'job' and I now spend my days designing colour infused and nature inspired embroidery kits and patterns as well as stitchery projects. I hope you enjoy stitching them as much as I do! www.jennyblair.co.uk
