Anna is a textured scarf or shawl. Chunky/bulky yarn and larger than usual needles mean the resulting shawl is fluid and not too thick – perfect for summer evenings or for wearing over your coat as a warm scarf, in the winter. Or, an indoor wrap for snuggling into, in front of the fire. Add 3 tassels or not – the choice is yours!
Any chunky/bulky yarn could be used, but results may vary. It is knitted on a circular needle, working back and forth. Instructions are in English, with British/American terms, written line by line. There are photos to help with yarn forward, yarn over and the stretchy cast/bind off, and the making of the tassels.
An easy pattern, for the beginner, or an easier TV knit, or if you like knitting and nattering at the same time!

The Lonely Sea - Heather Corcoran
I have a bag that say ' I knit therefore I am' - sums me up perfectly! I love to knit and love to design! I have knitted for years, and made and sold literally hundreds of owl gloves and fingerless mitts on-line. About 8 years ago, I decided to give designing and writing patterns a go, and I absolutely love it! The whole process is absolutely captivating, and I love to see other knitters' projects made from my patterns. My beautiful cavvy, Honey, is my constant companion, and she sleeps next to me on the settee while I knit. You can also find me on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/thelonelyseapatterns/
