A cute family of owls, all in a line. This cushion cover knits up quickly with chunky/bulky yarn and will look great in any colour.
The pattern is easy/intermediate, as you will need to know how to cast/bind on and off, knit, purl, and simple cabling. (Even if it’s your first time cabling, you will be able to, it’s that easy!) If you want buttonholes, then you will need to know yarn forward and knitting 2 stitches through the back of the loop, as well. Line by line instructions in English, with British and USA terms.
This is an envelope cushion cover to enable easy insertion of the cushion on the reverse side, with the choice of buttons and buttonholes, or not.
Matching baby blanket/throw available. Please click on my name to see a variety of owl patterns, and many others beside. Thank you.
The Lonely Sea - Heather Corcoran
I have a bag that say ' I knit therefore I am' - sums me up perfectly! I love to knit and love to design! I have knitted for years, and made and sold literally hundreds of owl gloves and fingerless mitts on-line. About 8 years ago, I decided to give designing and writing patterns a go, and I absolutely love it! The whole process is absolutely captivating, and I love to see other knitters' projects made from my patterns. My beautiful cavvy, Honey, is my constant companion, and she sleeps next to me on the settee while I knit. You can also find me on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/thelonelyseapatterns/
