Knitting pattern lace shawl Biscaya

Biscaya - the bay in the Atlantic Ocean. The contrast between fantastically , beautiful and attractive sandy bays, strong storms and high seas inspired me to create this design. The fine hole pattern combined with the coarse floral pattern reflect this contrast.

A warm welcome ! The talent for handicraft work was already laid in my cradle. My great-grandfather was a master tailor, his wife a milliner. Together they owned a tailor's workshop with a millinery in the renowned St. Moritz. Even in kindergarten I enjoyed working with wool and fabric. I sat for hours in my nursery and made clothes for my Barbie dolls. I also drew a lot and dreamed of becoming a great fashion designer. My education was very educational and shaped the rest of my life. I have now been successful with my company Jollyknits for 11 years. I enjoy being creative and independent every day. Sincerely Jollyknits - Jolanda Schneider
