Knitting pattern shawl, wrap, lace-shawl Meril

I was inspired to this name by the elvish word for Rose. The delicate lacey pattern gives it the very special lofty look. “Meril” is a beautiful scarf which can be customized in length and width as well as in the choice of yarn. . Even in DK-weight yarn the pattern is still an eye-catcher, while it acts wonderfully soft and airy in lace-yarn.

Extending the report the scarf turns into a stole or wrap that fits into a delicate summer dress or evening wear.

To get a cowl or a loop just knit some buttonholes at the start or the end of the shawl.

The shawl is knitted in one piece from bottom to top.

Gauge is not necessary because the shawl can be worked in every desired width or length.

Woolness Designs

Hi, my name is Michaela, and I live in Germany in Lower Saxony with my husband and my dog Flocke.

I knit and crochet almost my whole live. I was 6 years old when my mom taught me the first stitches and I feel like I have never put the needles aside.

I love to create new looks, I love to see how a knitted or crocheted piece grows with the teamwork of the yarn and my fingers. I want to share my creativity with other knit or chrochet addicted and that is why I create patterns.

All my designs are easy to intermediate to knit or crochet, all patterns are written clearly and easily understandable. They all are tried and tested and the translations are proof-read by a native speaker.
