The pattern „Rüschen-Liebling Lady“ #25 is a pattern for a jumper or shirt with overcut sleeves in sizes 32 - 50. There are 2 different fit variations in the ebook.
The regular „Rüschen-Liebling Lady“ is cut rather narrow at the sleeves and in the chest area and then flows loosely in an A-line downwards. This version is for jersey or thinner stretchy fabrics.
The loose fit version is cut slightly oversized, it falls slightly relaxed overall and hugs the hips. This pattern is suitable for somewhat thicker fabrics such as knitted jacquard, summer sweat/FrenchTerry or similar.
Of course, it can also be sewn from jersey for those who prefer it more loose.
There is also the option of narrow or wide sleeves (if you want to wear something long-sleeved underneath).
The highlight of the pattern is the overlapping back. There is a ruffled flounce at the bottom of the torso that extends to the overlap of the back pieces. The back parts overlap and are then fixed with a seam or buttons so that it doesn‘t open up too much at the back.
If you prefer it more simple, you can also sew the jumper with a simple back piece, where the ruffle then runs all the way around.
The sleeves can be long or 3/4 length. And if you want to sew it as a shirt for warm days, choose a short sleeve
Neckline variations:
normal round neck casual, slightly lower round neckline An optional hood gives the pattern a cool look. If you then omit the ruffle, you get a casual short jumper that can be worn with highwaist trousers or skirts.
