This little Skeleton doll is too cute to be scary! He (or she) would make a great Halloween decoration or gift.
Little Skeleton doll is knitted flat and seamed. Basic increases and decreases are used for shaping.
The “Bones” are simple crochet chains- although a similar effect can be obtained with wool embroidery.
Safety eyes are used – I also give full instructions for making embroidered eyes.
The pumpkin is sewn to the dolls leg to enable him to stand un-aided.

Claire Fairall
My sketch book is always full of new toy and doll characters waiting to be created in yarn.
I love bringing them to life with my knitting needles!
I spend my days in my sunny studio with my Siamese cat for company.
Surrounded by colourful yarn, my hands are busy clicking the knitting needles or sketching current ideas.
I create dolls and toys to celebrate the seasons and important times in people’s lives, Christmas and Easter- New babies and snuggly tired toddlers.
In between creating new dolls and teddy bears. I’ve created patterns for knitting magazines and worked with retail firms to create knitting kits.
I started out selling my knitted and felted bags at Craft and Design events where I enjoyed meeting other knitting enthusiasts.
It was these knitters who convinced me to publish my patterns for others to enjoy.
I do hope you enjoy your knitting project and if you would like to read more about my work please visit my website www.clairefairalldesigns.co.uk
