In line with the relaxed tailoring and loungewear inspired trends, these pants can be made in a variety of fabrics for different occasions and seasons. A comfortable elasticated waistband sits below the natural waist. The model also features side seam pockets. FABRIC RECOMMENDATION
This is a versatile pattern that can work with a variety of light and medium fabrics. Fabrics with a good drape like challis, satin, crepe, linen as well as light to medium jersey are all suitable to make these pants. Avoid heavy and thick fabrics, also fabrics that hold shape and volume.
NOTIONS AND TOOLS
Must: 4 cm (1 5/8”) wide elastic to your waist measurement added 2.5 cm (1”) for overlap 20 cm (8”) of iron-on fusible interfacing Regular sewing machine Matching thread Regular sewing supplies such as hand sewing needle, pins and iron
Optional: Overlocker/Serger machine; Lining fabric for the pockets if you will make the pants in knitted fabric.
