Knit a set of stacking dolls with this pattern. Also known as matryoshka dolls, they are traditionally made of wood and painted in bright shades. The large and medium doll pull apart to reveal the smallest doll in the centre. All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams. The finished dolls are 9cm to 12cm tall.
