Description

MINI CHICKEN HANGER

Here they are, the scrap-eating mini chickens for hanging! They not only scarf down your scrap yarn but other decorative materials as well, such as buttons, beads, googly eyes and more.

The pattern is easy to remember so that you‘ll quickly know it by heart. Like that the chickens will be hanging on your easter twig, key-chain, car mirror… in no time at all.

All steps are explained in detail in words and pictures, so this pattern is suitable for beginners as well. This pattern contains 4 pages of crochet instructions and 13 pages of detailed step-by-step instructions.

Used techniques (US crochet terms): magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increases. The figures are crocheted in continuous rounds/spirals.

Including comb and tail-feathers the chickens get to be 7 x 4.5 cm big (with 2.0 mm hook and Sport yarn like Catania Originals).

You need it smaller or bigger? No problem! Simply use lighter or heavier yarn.

MATERIAL For the body you need about 5 g of Sport yarn (e.g. Catania Originals). For eyes, beak and comb just a few scraps respectively. Hence scrap-eaters. ;) Additionally to the yarn you might need decorative materials like buttons, beads, feathers, googly eyes. If anything of those needs to be glued on you also need some glue of course.

FORMAT -pattern in PDF format (with watermarks) - to open and read the file you need a specific program, e.g. Adobe‘s free Acrobat-Reader (www.adobe.com)
