A classic beanie, with a snug fit and a cute owl on the side. Knitted in wool-rich chunky/bulky yarn, it will keep you lovely and warm in cold weather.
It is an easy/intermediate pattern, as you will need to know cast/bind on, knit, purl, and knit or purl 2 together, and simple cabling. (Even if it’s your first time cabling, you will be able to, it’s that easy!) Knitted FLAT and sewn up the back OR IN THE ROUND with magic loop - (could be adapted for other methods of working in the round). Instructions are in English, with British/American terms.
It comes in 4 sizes - toddler, child, adult and large adult. It is also possible to adjust the length if desired. The pattern is 7 pages long - the 2 adult sizes are written together, and the child sizes follow for each method of working. You can choose not to print the front cover if desired.
Fun to knit and fun to wear!
The Lonely Sea - Heather Corcoran
I have a bag that say ' I knit therefore I am' - sums me up perfectly! I love to knit and love to design! I have knitted for years, and made and sold literally hundreds of owl gloves and fingerless mitts on-line. About 8 years ago, I decided to give designing and writing patterns a go, and I absolutely love it! The whole process is absolutely captivating, and I love to see other knitters' projects made from my patterns. My beautiful cavvy, Honey, is my constant companion, and she sleeps next to me on the settee while I knit. You can also find me on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/thelonelyseapatterns/
