    Description

What a great way to have a cuppa, with or without friends! A cute owl, sits on a leafy branch, under a crescent moon and starry sky. A fun knit, with lots of daisy stitch and straight stitch embroidery - the end result is like a work of art! A wonderful, central table decoration, that will have your friends complimenting your skills.

The pattern is intermediate - basic knitting skills needed plus - Intarsia, a little Fairisle, simple cabling, duplicate stitch, and simple embroidery – there is a step by step guide with photos to help with assembling the tea cosy. Instructions are in English, written and charted, with British/American terms.

This was knitted in Drops Nepal Unicolour with optional Drops Glitter 10g ball. Most aran/worsted yarns should work well with this pattern, and it's a great stashbuster!

    Amounts used - Navy 83m/91yds, Forest 48m/53yds, Grey 8m/9yds, White 21m/23yds, Olive 9m/10yds, Brown 11m/12.5yds.

Measurements, all approx. – To fit teapot - height 20cm/8in – (can be made higher) - circumference 51cm/20in Cosy measures - up to just under tied ribbon – 20cm/8in - circumference - 53cm/21in These measurements are for a large teapot – the cosy will fit a medium teapot, but will be a lot looser.
