Materials you need at home:

*14 inch square piece of fleece for back of owl

*10 X 14 inch piece of fleece for front center of owl

*10 X 16 inch piece of fleece or cotton for owl wings & ear tuft loops

*8 X 8 inch piece of fleece for owl feet

*Small pieces of felt for owl eyes and beak

*Ruffled lace (1 yard) or ric rac (3-5 pieces from 6 to 8 inches long) for owl tummy trim *Two ¾ to 1 inch buttons for eyes *Embroidery thread to attach eyes and beak (I used DMC #5 Coton Perle) *Sewing thread (Note: Invisible thread works well as the top thread when stitching on ric rac, but is optional.) *Fiberfill *Scissors *Sewing needles and pins *Sewing machine
