What could be nicer than a snugly scarf to wrap up in on those cold winter days? A scarf with a cute owl on, that’s what! The chunky/bulky yarn knits up quickly and is lovely and warm, and as this is an easy/intermediate pattern, the only skills you need to know are cast/bind on and off, knit, purl and very simple cable. (Even if you’ve never cabled before, you will still be able to do this cable! As long as you’ve got a cable needle!)

And it comes in 4 sizes - toddler, child, adult and large adult. Why not knit one for the whole family? Great for presents as well.

Yarn recommendations are given, although any chunky/bulky yarn is going to work as tension/gauge is not so important for scarves. The sample in red was knit with Stylecraft Life Chunky in shade Cardinal (2305)

Line by line instructions are given, in English, with British and American terms.

This is a FREE pattern, so you can match it with a hat or gloves - for matching owl hats, fingerless mitts, mittens, ponchos etc. etc., please look at my other patterns. Thank you!
