Pattern Description The LingerieMeMade pattern Ella comes in 4 Styles. Two style variations for the back and two for the front. 4 Styles in total. • The first variation is a classic Brazilian cut panty that sits on the hip and partially covers the upper bottom. This version of the Ella panty is designed so that the side seams are narrower for smaller sizes and become proportionally wider as the sizes increase. • The second Ella variation a Brazilian cut panty with a front lace insert. • The third offered variation is a tanga style panty with a front and back lace insert. • And the fourth variation is a tanga style panty with back lace insert.
Ella can be worn under tight-fitting clothes and is an expression of sensuality. Ella is a beautiful addition to your lingerie wardrobe, an absolute must-have! The basic pattern is designed for European sizes 32 to 46 and is a quick sew suitable for beginners.

Fabric recommendation: All panty versions are intended to be worn snug to the body and are designed for 4-way stretch fabrics, meaning fabrics that can stretch in both horizontal and vertical directions. The classic Brazilian panty can be sewn partly or entirely from stretch lace. Light, soft microfiber, jersey, mesh, or powernet fabrics combined with lace are suitable choices. Jersey fabrics made from cotton, viscose, or bamboo must contain at least 5% spandex (elastane). I always recommend first making a toile in less expensive fabrics with similar properties to your chosen fabric. Then, once you have made any necessary alterations, you can sew as many perfectly fitting garments as you like. I recommend a breathable fabric for the gusset lining. Fabrics like cotton, bamboo, or viscose jersey are best suited for this. Additionally, to finish raw edges you will need narrow elastic, lingerie/picot elastic, narrow stretch lace or fold over elastic. For decoration, small satin bows, pendants, etc. are suitable.
