Papyrus is a twisted, tubular cowl, knit in the round with 2 contrasting colors and closed with a grafted, truly invisible seam. It can be worn in many different ways. The multiple layers of fabric, created by the tubular construction as well as the colorwork, will make it wear well and will allow you to wear it in many different ways!
Size: One size – Final circumference: approx. 70cm/28’’, adaptable as you wish, for a 20 cm width, double (tubular).
Gauge: 21 stitches x 24 rounds = 10 cm / 4’’, in Stockinette stitch in the round (gauge is not crucial and you can easily adapt the pattern to a different yarn weight)
Stitches: Stockinette in the round Papyrus stitch in 2 colors (pattern repeat over 10 sts.)

1 skein of MCN DK by (Vi)laines – color A: « Mouse belly » (212m/232yds per 100gr) 1 skein of MCN DK by (Vi)laines – color B : « Strolling in the calanques » (212m/232yds per 100gr) 1 circular needle necessary to get gauge (suggested size: 4.5 mm/US#7), and another needle for grafting. 1 stitch marker.
