Polar Bear is ready for the festive season, dressed in a Santa outfit. The outfit can be removed so you can dress up other toys too. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The jacket pattern incorporates picking up and knitting stitches along an edge, and kitchener stitch grafting. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, short rows (wrap and turn), and seaming to finish.
Contains:
- Instructions for making the bear and outfit.
- A materials list and recommended yarns.
- The pattern is 7 pages and written in English.
- Measurements are in metric.
- 25cm tall
Materials you need at home:
- A pair of straight 3.5mm knitting needles (US 4)
- DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight)
- Toy filling
- Beads for the eyes
