Scorpion Flower - Big Raggedy Wrapping Shawl Knitting pattern
Big wrapping shawl with raggedy edging for that ripped effect. Curled up fern like cables for a more sadden and dark mood. Or knit this in lighter color and the ferns turn into happy ferns that open up to the sun shine.
The cabes line the rips at the hem. Or flames... Or petals of flowers. You deside!
This shawl can be knitted in almost any yarn weight or needle size. It will only differ in sizes, it will not effect the design it self.
There is a icord edgin to prevent curling in wrong palces.
Perfect for halloween! A shawl inspired by Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, her wedding dress. Originally I wanted to knit this for my sisters wedding, in white. But since the date were never set I just made this in darker colors instead.
Measurement of finished shawl: ~150 cm in diameter when the gauge is 15 st and 24 rows = 10 cm/4”
SM’s separates the sections from each other when you work the bottom edge or the shawl.
This is accessible for beginners.
Really quick and easy to knit, mostly just stockinette flat.
