Simple 4ply family beanie - 2 years to man - Ivory

Description

This 4ply family Beanie, with optional pom pom, has a 2x2 rib brim then is worked in easy stocking stitch. Let the yarn do its’ thing to create the beautiful striping and fair isle design for you – but feel free to take the credit as though you did that fancy work yourself!

Super soft to the touch, Monte Bianco 4ply yarn is great for beanies, socks, kids and baby garments, as well as luxurious shawls. This self-patterning yarn comes in a gorgeous range of tonal colours, and makes even the plainest stitches look like something special. Pattern sizes: Age 2-5 yrs, 6-10 yrs, Teen, Lady and Man.

To fit head: 52 (54-55-56-59) cm [20½ (21¼-21¾-22-23) ins].

Yarn required: 1 (1-1-1-1) ball Monte Bianco Sock Yarn, 100g balls@400m. One ball should be enough to make at least two Beanies.

Needles required: A pair of 3.25mm [UK 10, US 3-4] knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 28 sts and 36 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over stocking st, using 3.25mm needles.
