Introducing my Squeaky Mouse in a Basket knitting pattern. The mouse could be used as a pincushion or a toy for pets (but for safety, don’t add bead eyes on pet toys). Squeaky is 7 cm long (not including the tail) and the basket is 8 cm diameter. Most pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles. The mouse’s tail is i-cord knitted on two double pointed needles (DPNs). You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams.
Contains:
- Instructions for making the mouse and basket with photos.
- A materials list and recommended yarns.
- The pattern is 3 pages and written in English.
- Measurements are in metric.
Materials you need at home:
- A pair of 3.5mm straight knitting needles (US 4)
- Two 3.5mm (US 4) DPNs
- Toy filling
- DK yarns (double knitting or light worsted weight)
- Beads for eyes
