The clean lines of this classic beanie show how much can be achieved with simple ribbing and stocking stitch. Just extending half of the rib columns into the body of the Hat creates a pattern that is graphic, striking and yet satisfyingly understated.

A choice of two rib patterns and five sizes make this pattern a perfect DK stash buster that you’ll knit again and again. Illustrated tutorials are included for the alternate cable and cable cast-ons.

              Skills required:
Knit & purl sts, knitting in the round, increases & decreases, specialist cast-on, twisted sts
