Description

TEENY WHALE TOY KNITTING PATTERNS

This teeny blue whale is quick to knit and uses only small amounts of yarn, a perfect project to use up any odds and ends of yarn. If you don’t have any toy filling in your stash, you could even use a few cotton wool balls to stuff your little whale.

TECHNIQUES: The whale is knitted in one piece and knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, increase (kfb) and decrease (k2tog and p2tog), and sew a seam. The pattern also incorporates intarsia colour-work and a three needle bind off.

FINISHED SIZE: The finished whale is approximately 6cm long.
