This toy tractor has a handy trailer for towing toys around the playroom. For advanced beginner and intermediate knitters, the body of the tractor and trailer are each knitted as one piece, using short row shaping in garter stitch. The wheels and funnel are knitted separately and sewn on after making up, and the window struts are embroidered in yarn. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the tractor is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
