Description
Here is the next addition to my knitted veggie box, a friendly turnip. Knitted veggies are super toys to encourage little ones to eat healthily, and turnips are packed with fibre and vitamin C. I have been working on a box of different vegetables, and if you are new to making knitted toys these make an easy introduction to the craft as they don’t have lots of pieces to sew together. My knitted veggies are worked flat on straight knitting needles, but most pieces could easily be converted to knitting in the round if that is your preference.
