White Wave Shawl is a pretty lace and garter stitch shawl/scarf. It is perfect for those blustery sea walks when the surf’s up, and can be worn as a scarf/wrap over the top of a Winter coat, or as a cosy shawl on a cool Summer’s eve. Featured in 'Knitinabox' Jan 2020.
An intermediate pattern, it starts at the top with a few stitches, and spreads out into 2 triangles, with easy lace and garter stitch patterns and contrasting stripes. Photos are included throughout, with line by line instructions, with British/American terms. Basic skills needed, plus knit front and back (kfb), yarn forward (yfwd) and knit 2 together (k2tog).
Yarn recommendations are given, but any aran/worsted yarn should be fine as slight variations for shawls/scarves are not so important. Photos inc. to make optional tassels - if you don't want tassels, you only need 1 ball of Graphite. There is a front cover which you can choose not to print if desired.

The Lonely Sea - Heather Corcoran
I have a bag that say ' I knit therefore I am' - sums me up perfectly! I love to knit and love to design! I have knitted for years, and made and sold literally hundreds of owl gloves and fingerless mitts on-line. About 8 years ago, I decided to give designing and writing patterns a go, and I absolutely love it! The whole process is absolutely captivating, and I love to see other knitters' projects made from my patterns. My beautiful cavvy, Honey, is my constant companion, and she sleeps next to me on the settee while I knit. You can also find me on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/thelonelyseapatterns/
