After purchase you will be sent a zip file that contains several PDF files. This will include step-by-step instructions (with photographs), a guide to selecting, printing and assembling your pattern and one or more pattern PDFs.
If the pattern has several style options, these will be separate files so that you can print only what you need. The pattern can be printed at home on either A4 or US letter paper. We also include an option to print at a copy shop or on a wide format printer or plotter. The remaining support files can be printed, or viewed on your computer or tablet.
Check that your email address is valid before ordering and make sure that you download your lovely purchase within 24 hours. Open your PDFs in either Adobe Reader (download for free here) or Adobe Acrobat for pattern printing precision. And last but not least, please save it somewhere memorable on your computer, as we will not be able to resend the files.
With a design rooted in our favourite era, this dressing gown is elegant and extremely comfortable to wear. With a shaped or gathered fit, wrist-grazing sleeves and deep pockets, it’s the kind of gown we always wanted, but could never find.

Our passion is home, so our sizing is based on comfort and ease. Using a tape measure, take your measurements – it’s most accurate when wearing pants and a simple bra. Measure your bust around the fullest part. Measure your waist at the narrowest part. Finally, measure your hips at their fullest point.

Light to mid weight cotton and linen will work well as will a soft fine wool. Silks that have body and drape are also perfect. The examples are in a medium silk habotai, cotton voile and vintage silk sari.
