The Yps cardigan is a cute kids’ cardigan, easy to style and easy to wear. The name Yps is short for Ypsilon (the German word for the letter “Y”) and it’s part of the Yps-Capsule-Collection. The construction is unique, it’s worked bottom up, starting with a split hem, the body is worked in rows, then separated at underarm to shape back and fronts using short rows. Then, stitches for the sleeves are cast on and worked together with the upper fronts and back in garter stitch to be joined at shoulders with the 3-needle method.
