Makerist GmbH Privacy Statement regarding the use of Facebook

Privacy Statement (as of March 2018)

1- Makerist GmbH (from here on 'Makerist') refers to the technical platform and the services of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ('Facebook'), for the information services offered here.

2 - We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the use of the Facebook site and its related features are your own responsibility. This particularly applies to the use of interactive features (for example: comments, shares, reactions).

It is unknown to us and ultimately not stated by Facebook, in which ways they (Facebook) use the data collected from visitors to Facebook sites, to what extent activities on the Facebook site are allocated to individual users, for how long Facebook stores this data and whether or not this data is transferred to third parties when visiting the Facebook site. When you as a user access an Facebook site the IP address assigned to your computer or mobile device is transmitted to Facebook. It is possible that Facebook is able to allocate IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged into Facebook as a user, you will find a cookie on your computer or mobile device with your Facebook identifier. Thereby Facebook is able to trace your visits to the site and how you used it. This applies for your visits to all other Facebook pages. Facebook is facilitated to record your visits on external websites via Facebook buttons that are integrated into these sites. From this data tailored content or advertisement can be offered to users based on the cookie information from their Facebook activity.

3 - If you intend to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the function 'logged into', to cancel the cookies on your computer or mobile device and restart your. In this way Facebook information, upon which you may directly be identified, will be deleted. Thereby you may use our Facebook site without disclosing your Facebook identifier. After a possible login you are recognisable again for Facebook as designated user.
