A child friendly dog

Work Description

I used a felted wool sweater to make this dog. I also changed the sewing order to sew this dog together. Caroline first stitches the entire plush dog together and then makes the eyes, nose and mouth. I did it a little bit different. After the middle front seam of the head was stitched, all details were made on the front head. The nose is made of a piece of faux leather for a more realistic look. I also gave the dog brown safety eyes instead of using embroidery thread. The legs of the dog are slightly longer than the original one. The inner ears are made of pink fleece. Then the back head was stitched together with the ears to the front head. After stuffing the body and head they were hand sewing together. Finally step was sewing the tail together. The dog really looks amazing and with the big smile so friendly.
