All that sewing elastic pencil case
Work Description
I made two versions. I made the first version using the printed pattern pieces and leftover shirt fabrics. It was easy to make starting sewing the zipper in both sides of the pattern pieces. Then both pattern pieces are sewn together. Elastic was inserted and now outside fabric, lining and elastic are sewn together. After turning the pencil case it was time for the last step: closing the gape. My second version is slightly wider. The original version is too small for a geometry triangle. This second one is made of leftover denim fabric. It just enough if the back seam was skipped. Before sewing this version together I embroidered first ‘Sewing Note Book’ on the denim. Sewing this version together was a little bit trickier due to missing the back seam.
